Boat based whale watching

Choice of two boats, depart normally in the morning. The one launch at the Gansbaai Harbour, operates in Walker Bay and the other one from Kleinbaai Harbour, operates near Dyer Island with its penguins and Geyser Island with its colony of Cape Fur seals.

Shark diving

Gansbaai is well known for the Great White Sharks and daily trips, normally in morning, launch at the Kleinbaai harbour about 10 min drive from guest house.

Beach walks or horse riding

White sandy beaches along the coast for long walks.

Eco or Educational Boat trips

Launch at Kleinbaai or Gansbaai harbour.

Duiwelsgat Trail

The 8km walk on the coast from Gansbaai to Klipgat Cave. Walk past small caves and coastal limestone fynbos all the way down to Walker Bay Reserve and Klipgat Cave.

Platbos Forest

Platbos is privately owned indigenous forest with rare species not found anywhere else in the region.

Danger point lighthouse

Is at the tip of the peninsula and was erected in 1895.

Strandveld Museum

A small private museum in Franskraal.

Three golf courses within a 10min – 45min drive.
